Group Yoga Classes with Susan
My students say that regular yoga practice helps them both physically and mentally.
Physically, yoga postures maintain flexibility and build strength, stamina and co-ordination.
Gentle breathing practices soothe nervous-systems and help settle busy minds.
At the end of each lesson we use a deep relaxation practice to help support better sleep and encourage feelings of wellbeing.
Students say they notice a difference if they have been away from their practice.

Live Classes on Zoom
Tuesdays 10- 11.15am
Thursdays 9-10.15am
Students are taught live, online, to ensure safe practice and give some sense of being together - even if it's through a screen.
Zoom links sent via email. We use the same link for a period of time. Very simple.
Practice from the comfort of your own home and reduce travel time, costs and the impact on the environment.
This format also offers diary flexibility. Switch between Tuesday and Thursday Zoom classes if needed.

What happens in these group lessons?
Susan’s teaching focuses on supporting health and wellbeing.
Students are encouraged to work carefully in ways which suit their current health circumstances. Adaptations for yoga postures are always offered so that everyone can participate.
Classes use gentle breath-work and a structured sequence of yoga postures (asana) to develop physical and mental strength and stability.
Lessons end with a deep relaxation to rest and rejuvenate the body and nourish the nervous system.
We are building a wonderfully diverse community. Everyone is welcome.
Who is the tutor?
Susan Lodge has 20 years experience and an ongoing personal yoga practice and training.
Her rewards come from supporting people to feel better. Many of her students have been coming a long while, reporting improvements in physical strength and mobility, reduced anxiety, tension and feelings of overwhelm. Yoga helps them feel better.
Susan also offers retreat mornings and courses for keen students and teachers who want to go deeper with their practice and study.
She also trains teachers across the UK and is the author of 3 yoga books.
